Gospel City church is a confessional Baptist Church grounded in the Reformed tradition and faith: Scripture Alone, Grace Alone, Faith Alone, Christ Alone, and the Glory of God Alone. These convictions shape our beliefs, practice and worship. We are a congregation that holds to the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith.
We have One Great Emphasis. Gospel City Church makes the chief aim of life to be the Glory of God. Therefore, we measure our fellowship and view everything we do through the lens of the glory of God. He is to be First in All Things (Colossians 1:18), and the goal of everything is to be His glory. (Romans 11:36)
Gospel City Church holds to the authority, inerrancy, and sufficiency of Scripture. The Bible alone tells us who God is and how we are to live.
We fully subscribe to the 1689 Second London Baptist Confession of Faith, not as equal to Scripture, but as a trustworthy guide to its teachings.
We also affirm the Apostles’ Creed, Nicene Creed, and Chalcedonian Definition as historic statements of orthodox Christian belief.
